Mark Budolfson
I'm an Assistant Professor at Rutgers in Environmental Health Sciences, Population-Level Bioethics, and Philosophy.
I work on interdisciplinary issues regarding ethics, environment, economics, and public policy, often in connection with socioeconomic inequalities and equity, sustainable development, planetary health, and collective action problems such as climate change that arise with common resources and public goods.Â
Current research includes sustainable development and climate change, environmental justice and health disparities, population-level bioethics, ethics and institutions, animal welfare, and ethics and individual reasons for action in collective action situations.
